The recently released Hankook K107 S1 Evo asymmetric tyre has been accorded many accolades both from within the tyre industry and from car magazines and auto testers.
The famed German car magazine “Auto Motor and Sport” has opined:
*Hankook Ventus K107 is the clear No.1 both in the dry and the wet
* Hankook Tyre’s premium claim is confirmed once again
* Maximum points in tyre safety categories
* The magazines editor has labelled the new Ventus as “The new yardstick in this tyre class”.
Hankook’s flagship product achieved maximum points in an amazing half of all the facets of this prestigious test, including best marks for braking in wet and dry conditions. In these two criteria, particularly important for safety, the Hankook S1 evo clearly outclassed all the competition in what the test editors accurately described as a “gala performance”and is one of the top products on the market in terms of both suspension comfort and road noise.
The Hankook Ventus S1 evo has been formulated to meet the requirements of owners of very fast high-performance cars and luxury vehicles who demand sporty performance from their tyres without having to compromise attributes such as suspension comfort or low tyre noise.
Highly dispersible silica tread compound is used commercially for the first time in the Ventus S1 Evo and a newly devised mixing process ensures a significantly higher silica enrichment level in the tread compound which ensures super enhanced grip in the wet and unprecedented low rolling resistance.
The Hankook Ventus S1 Evo K107 is both as a 4 ply PCR passenger car tyre and also as a runflat tyre in selected sizes. Already selected by Audi, BMW and Mercedes for original equipment fitment, and currently being evaluated by other manufacturers, the Hankook K107 tyre is certain to become a major power in the tyre world.
Derived from the expressions “inetic” and “c”, Kontrol Technology is Hankook Tyre’s technology philosophy which reflects how the tyre should perfectly control the interaction between the driver, the car and the road while in motion. It is implemented to ensure Hankook Tire provides the greatest benefits and driving experiences to customers in terms of safety, driving comfort, handling performance and environmentally friendliness.
